About the Robert Burns Society of the Midlands

Our Mission

The general purpose and aim of the Robert Burns Society of the Midlands (RBSM) is the study, preservation, and promotion of the culture, customs, and traditions of the people of Scotland, and the descendants of Scots, in the midlands. Membership is open to anyone of Scottish birth, descent, family, or interest. The RBSM publishes a newsletter, holds a Beltane celebration each spring, a Ceilidh each summer and Samhain celebration and a Kirkin of the Tartan at a local church each year.  The Robert Burns Dinner is held each January near the Anniversary of the Bard’s Birth.
